Craft Party Cross Stitch Kit | Hen Party Kit | Swear Words

Following the success of my bestselling swearing cross stitch kits and workshops I've put together a craft party kit so you can have your own crafty party in your own home or even for a hen party!

Cross stitch is perfect for beginners so even if everyone in the party isn't as crafty as each other it can be as detailed or simple as you like. You can go letter by letter so you feel that sense of achievement really quickly, but if you go wrong there's not too much un-stitching to do to start again - this is what makes cross stitch great for beginners, the holes are already there in the aida so you're not punching holes through the fabric and still seeing them if you need to unpick any mistakes!

Included in your party kit is the whole alphabet of templates so you can each design your own hoop to say whatever you like! I'm happy to include any existing patterns of mine (see here for full range) but full instructions are also included to help with spacing of the letters and or words.

The size of your kits depends on the size of your party, it's done based per person so each individual person will get: 3 inch bamboo embroidery hoop*, Aida (cross stitch fabric count 14, white), Felt (to finish off the hoop), Tapestry needle,  Ribbon (to hang your hoop) Printed off alphabet, grid paper to plan your design and instructions.
Then for the whole party to share: Cotton embroidery thread (ample! in a whole range of colours full skeins of cotton embroidery thread), Water erasable pen, Embroidery scissors.**

It does help if one member of your party is crafty to slightly ' take the lead' even if it's just pre read the instructions and set everything out before everyone starts but again full instructions art included just like in my kits.

*All Hoops are 3" in diameter which perfectly fits a 4 letter word (or even a 'Mrs B'over two lines like the example) if you would like a range of sizes for more letters to fit I'm happy to include some larger sizes too just get in touch for a custom order! ie my F*ck this sh*t hoop is a 5" hoop.

**The number of pens and scissors depend on the size of your party and works in batches of 4 ie a party of 4-7 receive one pen and one pair of scissors, parties of 8 - 11 receive two pens and 2 pairs of scissors etc. You don't need a pen to plan out your hoop it just helps in the planned compared to counting each stitch.
