Make your own Felt Christmas Decorations

Make your own Christmas felt decorations this year! 

I have designed a range of Christmas decorations to make yourself at home, to decorate your tree and home. Some sewing experience is required however you could use a simply running stitch instead of the next step blanket stitch which has been used on the examples.

You can buy this kit for just one item or for the whole bundle of four! Everything is included for a lovely Christmas craft to do with your children* over the holidays or in the run up to Christmas. You will need your own pair of scissors.

Included in your kit is:
Father Christmas - White, peach and red felt, gold bell, black beads, peach, black, red and white cotton embroidery thread, toy stuffing, red satin ribbon, embroidery needles, pins, basic sewing instructions and template. (enough to make 1 decoration)

Holly and Berries - Green felt, red pom pom trim, green cotton embroidery thread, red satin ribbon, embroidery needles, pins, basic sewing instructions and template. (enough to make 2 decorations)

Candy Cane - White and red felt, red and white cotton embroidery thread, toy stuffing, red satin ribbon, embroidery needles, pins, basic sewing instructions and template. (enough to make 2 decoration)

Christmas Tree - Green and brown felt, mini red pom pom trim, silver beads, mother of pearl star button, green, brown and red cotton embroidery thread, toy stuffing, red satin ribbon, embroidery needles, pins, basic sewing instructions and template. (enough to make 1 decoration)

The toy stuffing is manufactured in Britain and is made from recycled plastic bottles. As is the red satin ribbon, Berisfords have partnered with a leading European yarn supplier to develop a ribbon which is woven with yarns made from 100% used plastic bottles.

Your kit whether you order just one or the bundle of four will arrive in one box and the parts for each character will be in their own separate bag apart from the toy stuffing will be in one bag.

*This all depends on your child's sewing ability. For example My 8 year old nephew would be able to make most of these decorations with assistance from his mum, however they have been sewing together for years. He would do the simpler stitching or you could use glue to make it even easier (glue is not provided but uhu is a great and cheap alternative.)
